Mirrors

Which mirrors should you check when turning left?

Before you turn left you must check your rear view and left wing mirror so you're aware of other traffic on the road. A mirror check may alert you to another road user that could affect the turn that you're trying to make. Sometimes this could require an earlier signal, or maybe a later signal.

Warning - Failure to check your mirrors before signalling may result in you missing what another road user is doing and could lead to a potentially dangerous situation. Repeated missing of mirror checks will result in a fail on the driving test.
